I want my classroom to be an environment that is comfortable for every student's learning styles. Sitting at a desk for the 8 hours is not always ideal and does not promote the best learning for everyone. Giving students options of where they can sit and what they can sit on will not only help them feel more comfortable in their classroom, but they'll want to come to learn. Flexible seating options such as wobble stools, scoop rocker chairs, and stability balls will give the students a variety of places to sit. Wobble stools allow the students to sit and rock while working without having to worry about the stool breaking or falling off. The rocker chairs will be directly on the floor where some children feel most comfortable and they can rock while working. Lastly, the stability balls allow children to work on their core strength and posture while having a comfortable place to sit.
