My kids would love to have books to read independently. When I first started teaching I had nothing that was new. The books we have now are falling apart and are in desperate need of replacing. Having the leveled books and the variety will be exciting to my kids. They are quickly learning how to read and reading by themselves is a goal that they can't wait to reach. When they are able to go get a book on their level and read all alone they become more confident and I see the excitement in their eyes. Having these books will give my students opportunities to read interesting books that fit where they are with reading! Also, they can use these books when writing as well. They are looking forward to it!
