Funded Sep 24, 2023Thank you for funding our project to support collaborative learning initiatives in my classroom . These supplies will help ensure that all students have access to a fair and equitable education. They will also help students collaborate to learn the fundamental skills of working together and understanding other's perspectives. Thank you for valuing my students and their unique abilities to learn.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Gov. Jared Polis & the Colorado Dept. of Education.Student Council
Funded Nov 22, 2016Thank you for your kind donation to our student council. Through your donation we have been able to work effectively and meaningfully to impact our students and our community. We have used the new paint brushes to build sets for our dances. This semester we put on a Scooby Doo Sadies Dance. Students created caricatures of the various characters in Scooby Doo. The dance was a raving success and we could not have done it without the paint brushes that were donated, as many of the old paint brushes were thrown out last semester. The generous amount of paper we received has helped us complete various events like Wish Week. This year we adopted a young girl who's wish it was to go to Atlantis. Students planned and participated in a number of events that helped this little girl get her wish. While paper might seem like a small aspect of large events like this, it helps us not have to worry about the cost of printing, because we are able to provide the paper ourselves. We have been successful in our events this semester because we have had the copious amount of paper to advertise and explain the numerous events that have been planned.
Initially students were shocked at the amount resources we received and I had to explain to them how we received all of these materials. They were shocked and surprised at the generosity of our community members. We look forward to another year of great opportunities provided to us in part by your donation. We will be looking to the future to see what other support and assistance we could use from our community members.”
