Engaging Sensory and Visual Learners
Funded Jan 17, 2024This project has had a profound impact on my fifth-grade students, particularly those facing educational and economic challenges. The visually appealing content and interactive nature of the materials have optimized their learning experience. .
What excites my students most about this new product is its ability to make learning engaging and collaborative. The wobble stools have allowed my students to engage in our lessons, even in those moments where they struggle to stay focused. In particular, students who are visual learners have really benefitted from observing me model complex concepts on the easel. They eagerly participate in collaborative mini-lessons on the area rug, sharing ideas and working together to deepen their understanding.
The impact on these students has been transformative, fostering a love for learning and a sense of accomplishment as they navigate their educational journey towards success.”

Funded Nov 8, 2019Reading is a habit that is essential to students learning across contents. I am fortunate enough to teach students an additional language that can benefit them in the future in countless ways. However, the resources that help engaging the students in the classroom were lacking.
Before receiving all the Spanish comic books, students dreaded reading independently in Spanish. They couldn't connect with the topics due to the books being below their age group. Now, with all the Spanish graphic novels available, the students are just as prone to pull out a English book as a Spanish book. Additionally, these graphic novels are based on multiple series already known to the students, which motive students to read them.
In addition to the books, the document camera provided has benefited tremendously those students who are visual learners, and need explicit modeling when learning a new skill.
At the end, thanks to all these resources provided, my students are more engaged than ever during instruction.”
