    My students and I really appreciate the donations that you purchased for us. The students were able to use the materials during small group instructions. The donations helped my students move in reading and math. The students worked together to help each other master the games. I am extremely proud of the work that they did and will continue to use the materials with my next students for the upcoming school year.

    My students were very surprised to see all the materials that was given to them. They loved it so much that they play with it every chance they got. While playing with the material they were excited and at times I would have to tell them to use their inside voices. We appreciate it and will continue to cherish the materials.”

  • Reading a Variety of Books Are Beautiful

    My name is Ms. Arokium and I teach at P.S. 126 in the Bronx. We would like to thank our generous donors for funding my project. When I first opened the package my students were very excited to see the books, rhyming cards and Alphabet.

    During free time, the students love picking up the Rhyming cards and Alphabet. They work to help each other with the materials. It has truly made me feel very happy with all my students and seeing the eagerness to learn. My students love reading the books every chance they get. They are happy seeing the sight words that were taught to them. The moment that stands out to me the most is the students will go and get the books to practice the skills they learn during guided reading.

    My project was entitled "Reading a variety of Books are Beautiful" and my project number is 4305201.”

The use of these tablets will help my students who need extra help with lessons that are taught to them. The tablets allow them the opportunity for enrichment and review lessons that the student struggles with. Many students need a visual to help them and the app that they have will certainly benefit them. The nine requested Fire tablets will allow me to challenge them through the use of different reading and math apps. The apps will help to keep them engaged while building on the lessons just taught. The students I teach in a high needs school will deeply appreciate these additional classroom resources.
