Imagine you're on your last leg. This is your last chance to do something that many in your family never did, and it can lead to doing something no one in your family has ever done: go to college. This is the reality for many of my scholars. They need to know that we are serious about their future so that they know they can be as well. Among other things, these tablets will allow students to take a personalized approach to looking into their college and career future. They will take assessments for career paths, research postsecondary education paths, request information from colleges, compare and contrast college programs for cost and employability, and apply for colleges and financial aid. Students will also use the tablets document this research and journey with the expectation of sharing it with families, friends, and schoolmates. The documentation will also hold the expectation of inspiring future scholars at our school.
