My students love art class to begin with. They often crave that little extra, and this project is a great way to give them something extra. My students will have access to Scholastic Art magazine which includes many different creative activities. Having subscriptions to Scholastic Art magazine will help increase their Language Arts skills while in the fun and exciting art class! Reading does not exist in a bubble and neither does art. Scholastic Art will also aid in the math and science arena, too. Students will be using the Scholastic Art magazine as independent art work. They will have time at the end of class to read the magazine and share ideas with classmates . I am really excited to share this resource and do activities with my students this upcoming year.
