My first grade classroom is made up of many different cultures and languages. My students speak: English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Burmese, Poshto, and Arabic. Although their home lives present many barriers, I believe my students are capable of achieving the highest success. I teach to the whole child so that they are growing not only academically but also socially and emotionally.
