These journals and math games will help my students strengthen their Problem-solving skills. Problem-solving skills are part of 21 first century learning, and should be a very real part of the curriculum. It involves students to take ownership for their learning, increase effort to solve problems, discuss options, and focus on thinking as a vital element of the curriculum. It provides students with opportunities to use their newly acquired knowledge in meaningful, real-life activities,and assists them in working at higher levels of thinking . These materials will provide my students with low economic background with supplies and cooperative learning experiences to increase their math skills.
