Hi! I'm a physics and astronomy teacher in a Philadelphia public magnet school trying to get the best I can for my students in a cash-strapped school district. I'm a firm believer in the power of hands-on learning to teach science, but materials are often so expensive! My hope is that I can raise money to expose my students to updated technology and allow them to perform hands-on experiments. Lots of the students at our school are interested in careers in STEM - the materials purchased through the funds raised here will give them amazing experiences and opportunities that will help them achieve their dreams!
