Larry Abraham in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Texas-Austin says, “Classroom teachers should have kids move for the same reason that P.E. teachers have had kids count.” In my classroom, there is always lots of learning and even more movement. All of my students have various learning styles that make them the unique individual that they are. During the day in our classroom you would see some students standing while working, some would be sitting with their legs crossed in their chairs, and others are finding the way that makes them the most comfortable to work and move. Providing my students with other seating options like the wobble chairs would allow them to learn and continue working while moving. Thank you so much for considering to help improve my classroom and giving my students the opportunity to wobble while they work!
