In first grade students are still learning so many different aspects of the learning process. During lessons when we are using the SMARTBoard, if a student needs my help on a problem, I have to take extra minutes away from the lesson to assist them. This takes away from our learning time. Sometimes, I even have to shorten the lesson. In first grade, students need a lot of one-on-one attention and extra help! This iPad would help us greatly by allowing me to continue the lesson even when I am walking around and helping students. There is a wonderful app through the App Store that would go on the IPad and project to the SMARTboard remotely, wherever I am in the classroom.
