By having Hokki stools as a form of alternative seating, my students will be given the opportunity to move while they work. This will help them to calm their senses and focus on the task before them. Sitting still for extended periods does not work well for my students. They requested that I find ways to let them move more while they work. My students were able to try out different forms of alternative seating loaned to my classroom by other teachers. My students unanimously decided that Hokki stools are the best alternative seating option for their desks. My students will no longer feel like they cannot move. Your donations will help to ensure movement all throughout the day and help my students reach the recommended goal of 60 minutes of activity a day.
