My students LOVE to engage in a wide variety of activities to enhance their learning and comprehension, from games printed on cardstock or written on popsicle sticks, to store purchased logic puzzles and strategy games, all the way to online apps... they LOVE IT ALL!!! My students need a RELIABLE PC to allow access to many favorite activities within the classroom, including Morning Messages to start our day; informative ppts (bring it on Eureka Math!), videos and lessons (we can't live without our MYSTERY SCIENCE!); online Jeopardy for whole class games and tournaments; concept practice and quizzes; introduction of new academic vocabulary; books on Kindle for whole class read-alouds; small group rotations charts so students can take ownership of what they will be doing and where they need to go during reading and math rotations; Go Noodle for those essential movement breaks... the list goes on. Yes, we do have a PC in the classroom. Unfortunately, it is quite old and has become unreliable. We are often left waiting, too long, for our current PC to catch up to us. The fact is, minutes matter and we want to make use of every possible minute to grow as learners!
