The universal goals used for teaching handball allow students to shoot into the goal from 360 degrees, and adjusts in height for kids in wheelchairs. An "All around goal" easily adjusts to any height to make the game more challenging for my older students, but also allows a student to score from any side/direction. One of my goals as an A.P.E. (P.E. for kids with disabilities) teacher is to create games for maximum inclusion of kids with a wide array of disabilities. Handball is a sport that I have taught for my kids in wheelchairs, as well as those who are mobile. Students use a soft toss ball to pass down court, and then throw the ball into a standing hula hoop to score a goal. While this goal provides a good visual aid, it is difficult to keep standing upright. This goal can also be used as a basketball hoop or bowling target!
