Lego Table For Creative Minds!
Funded Sep 29, 2022The Lego table was a great addition to our classroom. Since we received it, our Pre-K students have explored and created different projects using Legos. Their fine motor skills are also developed so that they can use writing tools appropriately. In addition, the Lego table encourages students to interact with one another and work together to create projects. Over the past month, our students have explored all aspects of themselves. We incorporated the Lego table into our unit of study, and students constructed homes that resembled their own. Once again, thank you so much for your donation.”

Funded Sep 7, 2022Using the colorful storage bins helped us organize and set up the classroom so that my Pre-K students could develop their independence. By adding pictures to the bins, our Pre-K students learned where things belong and where they can find them. In a very short period of time, all of our students, including students with special needs, were able to sort class materials by color, size, and category.
Our Pre-K students had the opportunity to develop problem-solving skills; matching objects with their pictures is one of the lessons they are learning. Additionally, they are learning to respect one another as well as the things around them. Your generator made it possible for us to do that.”

Funded Jan 14, 2022I was so pleased to see how much my students appreciated the multicultural instruments. My children were eager to open the boxes as soon as the class received the materials. Many of them had never handled a musical instrument before. Seeing piano, guitar, and Villon for the first time was a very special moment for them.
Additionally, they were able to identify many different musical instruments and explore different sounds. The class participated in an indoor musical parade!
We learned how music can help them express their feelings. The students also learned that music comes in many forms that are different from culture to culture.
I will continue to teach them basic music skills and integrate multicultural music into different units of study.”

Funded Nov 15, 2021Words are not enough to express our gratitude for your donation. Our Pre-K students were thrilled to receive the sand and water table. I incorporated math and science into the sand table. My students explored and compare different materials with all their senses. They used measurement tools to measure and compare. Soon my students will explore Water unite and explore STEM projects such as noticing how Water moves from one place to other. All these wouldn't be possible without your donation. We greatly appreciate it.”

Funded Apr 2, 2021My students were thrilled when they opened the boxes and saw the water pump and water supplies. With sparkles in their eyes, they said, "WOW!".
The children were fully involved in solving many problems they faced as soon as opening the boxes. The students had to decide what size of the tray they should place under the water pump? How do we keep the class safe while exploring water? How to fill the tray with water?
We will incorporate math skills such as having children using measuring tools to compare the volume of water in two buckets of water to decide which one has more/less water. We will also help children increase their vocabulary, such as deep, shallow, water flow, empty, and full.
My students wouldn't have this excellent opportunity to explore water and develop many skills without your generous donations.”

Laminate to Save Trees and Time
Funded Mar 27, 2018Your donation to this project gave us an opportunity to create more reusable games for children to develop different Math/English language skills. My students use eraser markers to solve math problems using laminated sheets. After they complete their tasks, they erase their answers and reuse it over and over without wasting papers. Because of your donation, we were able to laminate our interacting chart to keep them safe for our children to use them every day. A BIG THANK YOU for being so generous.”

Funded Mar 27, 2018Your donation to this project gave my students an opportunity to develop different cognitive, academic, social and fine motor skills. My children and I were thrilled opening the boxes and seeing the art supplies. My children chose to go to the art center and used the construction papers and glues and created different projects. Because your donation, my children were able to continue creating projects to express their thoughts and feelings as well as continue appreciating visual art. A BIG THANK YOU for being so generous.”

This classroom project was brought to life by Ripple.Stem is The Future!
Funded Apr 4, 2017Today, we received the STEM supplies! My students and I opened the big brown box. We were thrilled! At the beginning, my students thought they got new toys but when we opened the first box and started to see how the mouse moved without anybody touching it, they started to ask curious questions about what made the mouse move. These materials have already sparked their curiosity to learn how things work. During this school year, we will use these STEM materials to help my students grasp the concept of force, gravity, balancing, and weights in such meaningful way. We will be able to accomplish that because of your generosity! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and giving!”

Color Children's Lives with Markers and Paint!
Funded Jun 12, 2017During this week, our class was learning about identifying different colors. Yesterday, one of the children held one of the markers and said disappointedly, "Why don't all these markers work?!". Today, my students were thrilled when they opened the big boxes with me and saw the paints and markers. They started to call out each color's name and had conversations about their favorite colors and how much they love the rainbow colors. They couldn't wait to use the paints and markers to create projects for their moms and dads. However, before they started using the paints and markers to create projects, I explained to them how kind people like you helped them to have these materials. They discussed different ways to thank you and finally, they decided to create projects and send it to you to thank you for the paints and markers.
During the school year, the children will use the paints and the markers to create different projects to express their thoughts and feelings and practice fine motor skills. Also, the children will learn all about the primary and secondary colors as well as experiment mixing colors. We will be able to accomplish that because of your giving! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and giving!”
