I teach in an urban school in Illinois. My school is half African American and half Latino. God knows we are just like other schools, with limited budgets and scratching and clawing for basic supplies. I am going to introduce my students to the 21st century by catching up with technology. I have my own laptop and I am purchasing various educational support programs dealing with math and science, but I really need a projector to do all this. My students are 4th/5th split bilingual and I want to do the very best I can this school year.
