Thank you so much for your generous donation. It is so important for students to learn and practice self-regulation skills and I am so happy you provided the resources to do just that. My students will enjoy using these resources and the books. Thank you for believing in what we do.”

  • Reading Is Dreaming with Open Eyes

    Funded Mar 18, 2021

Thank you so much for the books you kindly donated to my classroom. My students loved the books and reading them was their most favorite part of the school day. They often asked me to reread their favorite books and to use read the books during their free time. The books tied in so well to our social-emotional lessons and we used them to talk about kindness, empathy, and feelings. The books are so beautifully illustrated and I will be using them many more years to come. Thank you again for your generous donation.”

    Mrs. Noriega

  • We Are Live and in Color!

    Funded Mar 17, 2021

Thank you so much for your donation. The use of the IPEVO pen helped make google slides interactive for in-person students. The pen made it possible for students to participate safely. The mic allowed my voice to be projected through the mask and made it easier for my students to hear while maintaining a safe social distance. The presentation clicker allowed me to move around the classroom while using google slides to teach. All these things made coming back to the classroom so much easier for my students and me. They helped make our classroom a bit more normal in such a crazy school year. It gave us some normalcy back and for that I thank you.”

  • An Apple to See

    Funded Sep 3, 2020

This year has been like no other in so many ways. However, the use of technology has made distance learning so much more manageable. The iPad you generously donated has made distance teaching so much easier. I use the iPad to log in through zoom as a second device. This helps me stay connected to my students if my laptop gets disconnected. I also use it so that I may be in multiple rooms during break out groups in Zoom. I have used it to screen share books as I read aloud to my kindergarten class and also as a document camera where I model math lessons. In addition, it has helped me record my students' responses during assessments. The iPad has also helped me create my teaching slides and review student work on Seesaw and Flipgrid.

While this year has had many challenges in teaching, having the iPad has helped me overcome many of them as it has provided a way to make teaching more engaging and interesting to my students through its many uses. I cannot thank you enough for your tremendous gift and the way it made distance learning more attainable for my students and me. Thank you.”

  • Curiosity Unleashed

    Funded Mar 29, 2016

Thank you so much for your generous gift! My students love the Chromebooks you donated. We are so grateful that now we have computers in our classroom after going on years without them. Computer time is one of my students' favorite activities. Currently they access the Internet to practice skills taught in class. They love to go onto to sites like ABC Mouse and Starfall. This has helped some of more hesitant students continue to practice skills that they are struggling with in a more hands-on funner way. We look forward to continue to use the Chromebooks in many more ways. Thank you!”
