  • A Space to Call Our Own

    What a gift!!!! Thank you for your generosity and thoughtfulness in funding this proposal. My students and I are so excited to think that you would provide this needed resource for our classroom. We will remember that our special gift comes from special friends who care about us!

    This carpet will help us learn so many things! Some students will learn colors. Others will be able to practice perceptual motor muscle skills as we use the squares to orient our bodies in "high," "medium" or "low" space. We can use the grids to help us learn how to count by tens plus ones. And every day when we work as a whole class, we will have our own special place on the rug to call our own!

  • Newts, Newts, Who Got The Newts?

    What a surprise! I am so excited that our proposal is being funded for this wonderful habitat exhibit and for the newts to go with it!!!! I have just the spot for it in my classroom.

    I am encouraged to know that there are people who care about our students and who are able to fund some of these "extra" activities that are so crucial to their early learning experiences. I know that my class will be jumping for joy (literally!) when I tell them about our upcoming shipment. I can't wait to send you pictures of them crowded around the tank.   • Gotcha! We Caught You Doing Your Best Work!

    I am so grateful that you will be funding this special project for my classroom. I have tried to do this on my own in the past and it was difficult to be consistent each year with the amount of pictures and processing involved. By supplying these items, I will be able to capture students at work and print out the photos in a timely manner (and not wait until the next time I can run to out to get photos processed at the nearby store). It is so encouraging to be supported by others in our endeavors to care for and teach children. Thank you so much”
