Making Life-Long Readers

Thank you for all the wonderful books we've received. My students are really enjoying enjoying them. They are reading them independently, with a partner or in small groups.
These books have made a great impact on my early readers. Every day I assist my early readers in reading these books. They help them learn sight words which are words that are repeated in text. These books also help my young readers learn cvc words which are words that rhyme.
My struggling readers are enjoying the simple pattern text that supports their literacy skills. The illustrations also support their comprehension and reading of the text. Thanks again for helping my students become life long readers.”

Every day my students have the opportunity to read independently. They require books that are engaging and specific to their levels. These books will help engage my struggling readers and help them learn new vocabulary and important sight words. These Leveled readers are a fundamental part of our balanced literacy program and will support my students in meeting their reading goals. We will need these readers to read at home and practice all the reading strategies that we will learn daily. They will support our diminishing leveled library that needs to be replenished with new and exciting books. So please help my students on their journey to becoming great readers.
