Imagine the time when the educator was tied to the confines of marker and board. A classroom full of children sitting at their desks wanting their teacher to acknowledge and help them, but the teacher needs to stay up front, keeping pace. Fast forward to today where the teacher now has a device in which she can teach or display from ANYWHERE in the class. This device would allow me to teach my students from anywhere in the classroom. Once this freedom of movement has been granted, this lends to a more active teaching style which is great for keeping students engaged and excited about learning. I would feel free to help my students during the lesson, thus allowing me to better identify specific needs while roaming the classroom. The students then become excited to demonstrate their knowledge to their peers, in addition to, feel confident because I have acknowledged their need.
