3rd Grade Mathematicians Need You!
Funded Nov 16, 2022I would like to thank you all very much for your generosity. My students and I are extremely thankful for your donations. Technology is a must for every student in the 21st century. Students use laptops to complete daily assignments, enrichment, and apps that will support their learning to prepare them for testing and long life skills.
My students are most excited about the manipulatives. They enjoy the hands on activities that involve using them. They definitely had a blast for the time and geometry units since I give them time to play with the manipulatives before the lessons. They also enjoy the multiplication dominoes and dice in dice during math workstations.
All my students have warmed to the STEM Master Building Toys since they can use it during inside recess. They enjoy creating and building! Thank you so much for your commitment in helping children of low socioeconomic level have access to math manipulatives and technology. You have made a difference in their lives as learners. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for your kind hearts.”

Funded Apr 7, 2022I would like to thank you all very much for your generosity. My students and I are extremely thankful for your donations. During this difficult time of Covid, my students have lost some motivation for learning. When my students first saw the boxes with treats and incentives they were overjoyed.
These amazing party favors, mini stress balls, cube puzzles, and treats have been an excellent motivator for my students. One of my favorite things with this incentive is shopping from our class store! Students count their dollars at the end of the week to purchase items they want which help with real life situations.
All my students are more excited about their learning and being present in school. Thank you so much for your commitment in helping children of low socioeconomic. You have made a difference in their lives as learners. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for your kind hearts.”

Funded Oct 9, 2020I would like to thank you all very much for your generosity. My students and I are extremely thankful for your donations. During this difficult time technology is a must for every student. When they saw me opening the brown box they were so curious and excited.
My students have benefit from the Chrome laptop a great deal by being able to access all the applications needed to be successful this school year. In addition, my students also use the laptop to complete daily assignments for all core subjects. With the laptop students can also follow daily lessons that I make through PearDeck which makes learning fun and interactive.
All my students have warmed to the technology and are more tech savvy during this difficult time. Many of them do not have access to technological resources at home and it is incomprehensible in this tech era. Thank you so much for your commitment in helping children of low socioeconomic level have access to a laptop. You have made a difference in their lives as learners. From the bottom of our hearts thank you for your kind hearts.”

Funded Oct 30, 2019My students and I are very thankful for all the new products and materials received. The students perform and sang a song for the annual Winter Program and it was a success! I was able to custom make snowman T-shirts for all my students. The students wore a white T-shirt with round colored buttons that was cut out of colored vinyl using the Cricut Explore and then heat press with the Cricut EasyPress. The students were so excited to pick their colored buttons and were overwhelmed with joy.
The 100th day of school is getting closer. Soon we will begin planning for the theme and activities that will take place during the 100th day of school. We will come up with either a phrase for T-shirts or individual cutouts for a poster that will be presented during the school's parade. All of this would not be possible without the support and kindness of all the donors. I am so grateful for people like you all!”

Funded Jan 14, 2019In this 21st century, technology is part of our daily life. That is also true for my students as they are exposed to it at a very young age. Students need technology in the classroom as it will help them be successful and be prepare for their future careers. Integrating technology in the classroom is part of our daily routine since it is an effective way to connect with all learning styles. Many of the applications student's use are tiered to their learning needs therefore students continue to learn base on their abilities to master proficiency.
My students are very thankful for all the new products and materials received. They are the most excited about the headphones, surge protector, and the web cameras. The headphones were the biggest hit since they use them to hear their individual Imagine Math lessons and hear read aloud books in myON to complete AR quizzes. The surge charger and the web cameras has help students be more responsible and take ownership of their technology integration. After using the iPads and desktops students are eager to charge them and organize the classroom electronics.
I have very diverse students. I have very outgoing students and I also have very timid students who struggle to participate. A few days after receiving the products and materials some shy students began participating more. They were eager to share with their classmates they were using the new products.
Thank you so much for your donation. I am so grateful for you, you have made a difference in my students learning.”
