Within our first grade classroom, my student leaders are often in small groups during ELA and Math, working proactively and independently to practice their skills. This allows me time to meet with students for differentiated targeted instruction. The ETA Hand2Mind Versa Tiles will give my scholars hands-on challenges as they work towards meeting their individual academic goals. These challenges are self-checking and would provide my students ownership over their learning. In addition to meeting core ELA and Math standards, these particular tile sets are cross curricular, incorporating both Science and Social Studies. This would be a win-win tool in the classroom!
