Students will use the headphones to connect audio books to their imagination. They will be able to listen to and read along with grade level text provided through this project independently during station rotations. This station will help students hear what great reading sounds like. It will build their confidence and comprehension while serving as a model of what proficient reading sounds like.
The students will be able to use the listening station daily within their station rotations. They will also be able to choose which stories interest them the most. They can easily access text that independently would cause frustration. This will open another world of access for students to continue learning to love reading!
