My students need sports equipment such as small floor scooters, bouncy balls, tunnels, hula hoops and other equipment to help develop their gross motor skills. This is vital for them to grow to be strong and confident. It will also benefit our kids with their social skills. Showing them the importance of how to share and take care of our equipment will provide them with the tools needed to develop their gross motor skills. Focusing on gross motor skills using the equipment asked for will not only aid in enhancing the students every day functions, but it keeps them active.
