Engaging Minds
Funded Oct 21, 2019We used the tree to display the students Christmas ornaments and added it to our reading center. The kids loved having it and seeing their work. We can't wait to use the police and firetruck pop up tents. The kids love pretend playing. We added the wooden fishing game into our winter unit and created an ice fishing scene.
My students were so excited to get new manipulatives to add to their centers. They love exploring new ways of learning.
Being a lower income school we are looking for our next project to be snacks. We have many students who come to school without a snack for the end of the day. Nutrition is key to learning.”

Writing My Way
Funded Oct 15, 2019We are using these materials to engage in writing and reading. The students love to grab a book and sit in the comfy blue chair to read. They are using the boogie boards to write words and express themselves. The dry erase easels have been a great asset to our art center and many have learned to write all their ABC's.
The students could not wait to try out all of the new materials. The comfy chair was the perfect addition to our library center. They were so excited and grateful for your generous donations.
The next step for our classroom and is to become strong writers and began the first stages of reading.”

Light the Way
Funded Oct 7, 2019The students love using the light table for sorting, building creations, and much more. They have enjoyed using it to build animal habitats.
The students were so excited and couldn't wait to use them. They love the light table and the manipulatives to help their learning. We have found many different ways to use the light table (creating a colorful turkey, building castles when talking about fairytales.)
In the weeks to come we will be exploring the different types of weather and how we dress for the seasons. We will be making snow in the classroom, rain clouds, tornados in a jar, and much more.”

Healthy Snacks!
Funded Apr 30, 2019Your donation helped provide student's who are unable to bring snacks a snack. You have helped these students out with nutrition.
They were so excited to see all the different snacks they could chose from! It made them happy to know that someone cared enough about them to contribute for snacks. These students can focus better now since food is a fuel to the brain.
Thank you for considering my students and the importance of education. Many of my students would not have a snack if it wasn't for your donation.”

KA Loves Art
Funded May 23, 2018Thank you so much for your support to my classroom. We have used these materials to help us create letters as well as special projects for our parents, grandparents, and more. We have used the tissue paper to cover letters and create our own design.
The students were so excited to see new materials and fun things. They love the paint and the smelly stickers.
We will use the wiki sticks in our writing center on letter formation. Also we will use the paint to paint our names and create stories.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Meyer
