• Materials for Remote Learning

  Our students have been home for quite some time now and materials that you have helped get have made them feel like they are in a classroom! Thank you for your generosity in making this happen for our students.

  Families were very grateful to receive materials that helped them make their children's work space more like a classroom work space. We received materials that helped students organize themselves and their space so that they feel like they are in a classroom workspace.

• Keyboards Are "Key" for Writing at Home

  Thank you for your generous donation. Technology has been very important in our learning this year and will continue to be as we move from at home back into the classroom.

  Students are using technology to connect with their teachers and with each other. In addition they are being introduced to so many things around the world that are broadening their knowledge of their community and the world as a community.

• Go Bag for an Emergency

  Funded Feb 22, 2017

  Thank you for your help with this project!!! We were able to fill all of our go bags with materials that students may need in case of an evacuation. We have three floors of classrooms so this was no easy task but with your help we were able to make it happen. Paper towels, first aid kits, gloves, wipes, flashlights and more have now been put in each red bag so that the bags are easy to grab and walk out the door in case of an evacuation. Thank you again for your support and continued assistance for PS20.”

• Alternative Seating Empowers Learning

  Thank you for your help in obtaining alternate seating for our fifth grade classroom. It has helped our students to feel more comfortable in the classroom and be able to complete their work in different areas of the room where they find they can best focus.

  When the students first saw the alternate seating they were overwhelmed with the generosity of people they didn't even know. They couldn't wait to put the new alternate seating to use.

  Our students continue to work on their projects or continue growing their skills in reading and writing while using this alternate seating so thank you again.”
