“By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” – Benjamin Franklin. Staying organized is a challenge, even for adults. High school is a crucial time for not just academic growth, but also developing social/emotional skills. As a school counselor I support 9-12th grade scholars with time-management and organization strategies. Our scholars participate in rigorous course work, after school activities, and personal commitments, but without organizational resources they can be overwhelmed and fall behind. Though many online planners are available, many scholars would benefit from a planner they can tangibly hold and write in. These planners, along with teacher and counselor support, will help them continue to be successful in the IB program and beyond.
