Office Supplies for Math and Science Lessons!
Funded Dec 12, 2018Thank you so so much for funding our project! We are so excited to be able to use these office supplies in the new year, 2019, to help us achieve our math and science goals!
Our kids are going to be super excited to know that their supplies are coming to their classroom in the new year. We are most definitely appreciative of EVERYONE who helped to fund our project and meet our goal!”

Funded Dec 12, 2017Thank you so much for the gift of the classroom supplies. The students were SO excited when the box with the supplies arrived! We have been using all of the materials in our everyday classroom activities and routines. A few of the examples of how we are using the materials are highlighted below.
When we solve problems in math class using individual whiteboards at our desks, the dry erase markers you gifted us definitely make our lives easier! We have just begun our geometry unit, so we've been using the whiteboards a lot lately to solve problems and demonstrate how we arrived at our solutions.
The pencils we use every day, of course! Note-taking, drawing 3D figures for geometry, solving algebraic equations, and test-taking are all activities that require the use of that simple classroom tool, the pencil. Thank you for providing pencils for our class!
Finally, the white board eraser, white-out, and other materials have been used and very much appreciated, not only in math class but in science class as well! Thank you again, so much!”

Mrs. Gibb
Don't "Cell" These Kids Short: New Microscope Needed!
Funded Sep 27, 2016Thank you so very much for helping our scholars successfully complete their observations of cells by generously donating towards our brand new microscope. We have now had the opportunity for every student in my classes to become acquainted with the microscopes because we have enough high-quality microscopes for everyone to have an opportunity to use one!
Our students, as you know, mostly come from low-income backgrounds. They do not have access to this technology elsewhere except school. As a result of your generosity, our cheek-cell lab was a great success, all students are now able to successfully and effectively use a microscope to observe cells, and we have more exciting labs planned for the future! They were so excited and grateful for this project, and I am so so happy your generous donation now has a permanent home in our classroom.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Gibb
