The impact that technology has had on today’s schools has been quite significant. This widespread adoption of technology has completely changed how teachers teach and students learn. Having split classes is a struggle but it is a necessity. Students will use these laptops to access academic programs and to enhance learning opportunities. We have to separate the grade levels to keep students on task and engaged. In my class we use multiple programs to supplement. We use Mobymax, ReadingPlus and Edgenuity. Having these laptops will help the teacher be able to give one on one attention. Technology will only help our students learn and gain skills necessary for real life situations.
