This classroom project was brought to life by The DonorsChoose Community and 6 other donors.Full Bellies, Happy Kids
Funded Dec 9, 2023Thank you all so much for your generous donations. These donations have made a real impact on my students on multiple levels. They feel happy, heard, and seen. The snacks have allowed our classroom to become a closer-knit community. We now eat, share, and have fun together. My students were overjoyed to know that people outside our community wanted to help provide them with daily snacks. This small act has allowed them to feel special and even more motivated to learn. It was heartwarming to see all my students happily munching away while working. Thanks so much for your support!”

Snacks Please, Keep Our Bellies Full While We Learn
Funded Oct 21, 2023My students were so happy and appreciative when they received their snacks. They were eager to help store everything in our plastic bins and arrange them all neatly in the shelves. Every day when they come in, they are so happy to go grab a snack if and when they choose to do so. You all have helped me provide my students with a much needed incentive to come to school and do their best daily. They seem with pride and let everyone know that they are special because they have snacks in their room!
Many of my students have told me that they think that having snacks in the class has helped them feel happier throughout the day. Recently we did a lesson about what they are thankful for and most of the kids indicated that they were very thankful for having snacks in the room readily available.
I am sp very thankful for everyone who donated. It is truly appreciated.”

This classroom project was brought to life by A Donor Who Loves Teachers and 4 other donors.Organization Is Key
Funded Nov 30, 2019My students are I are enjoying our seat sacks very much. The seat sacks have made such a positive impact in our classroom. We no longer have to waste instructional time during transitions going back and forth getting supplies. Instead, now because of the seat sacks, students have all their materials on the back of their chairs. This has cut down on wasted time and is helping my students learn to how to be organized.
When the seat sacks arrived they arrived in a large cardboard box that was delivered to our room. The students were very excited as I had told them that some very generous people sent us a gift for us to use in our class. They students loved opening up their seat sacks and making them their own by writing their names on the back of each one. The smiles in the classroom were contagious. I loved seeing how happy they were!
Currently, the seat sacks are home to my students Chrome books. We are using the chrome books to conduct research on Colonial America.”
