  • Reaching Our Goals With Soccer

    Funded Feb 20, 2025

I cannot begin to thank you enough for your generosity! Our soccer season is set to start in just a few weeks, these soccer nets will arrive just in time for our first training. These soccer nets are sure to take our training to the next level by offering a more game like feel. Thank you again for your incredible support.”

  • Making Connections Through Connect 4

    Funded Apr 26, 2024

Our entire school community is tremendously grateful for your generosity. The giant Connect Four Game has allowed for giant connections amongst our students. Not only is the game very inviting with its supersized look and bright colors, it invites different children to interact amongst each other that normally would not. During most class periods there are many students huddled around the game waiting for their chance to play. This game has taught my students so much including waiting turns, playing fairly, responsibility for game pieces and clean up and much more. After having this game for just a few short weeks it has made a great impact on all of our students. I know that it will provide a lot of entertainment and connections over many years to come.”

  • Diabolos for Social Distance PE Part 2

    Funded Dec 31, 2021

I cannot begin to thank you enough for supporting my classroom by funding this project. We were able to introduce our students to the Chinese Yo-Yo's prior to the Covid pandemic during an in house assembly. Our students immediately took a high interest in learning new skills and practicing. Since then we have been able to have our students practice their skills on a small scale because we only had ten Yo-Yo's. With your generous donation we now have enough Yo-Yo's for students to practice individually or one other partner rather than in groups of four of five students. We are very grateful to you all for bringing this unit to life for our students.”

  • Adding KanJam to Our PE Plans

    Funded Dec 18, 2021

My students and I are incredibly grateful for your generosity. The Kan Jam sets will help take our Frisbee unit to the next competitive level by offering another action pack option for our students to play. My students were so excited to see that we received official Kan Jam sets after learning how to play on modified equipment that replicated the game. With the addition of these Kan Jam sets we will be able to offer students more opportunities to play a game they have already learned to love. We will have less waiting time for students and a more authentic playing opportunity. Again, we are so thankful for allowing this project to come to life.”

  • Diabolos for Social Distance PE

    Funded Oct 5, 2021

Thank you so much for your tremendous generosity. Your donations have allowed for my students to participate in a new and exciting unit in their Physical Education class that would not have been possible without you.

My students are having a blast learning new tricks on their Diabolos. It is so wonderful to see them actively participating with big smiles on their faces in the gymnasium after a year and a half learning remotely. Best of all, they are able to practice their Diabolos in a socially distant environment where they feel safe and motivated.

We are forever thankful for your generous donations and we look forward to practicing our Diabolo tricks all year long.”

  • Frisbees for PE!

    Funded Sep 22, 2021

My students and I cannot begin to thank you enough for your generous donations. Your generosity helped bring our Physical Education classes back to an exciting and energetic new unit after a year and a half of learning remotely.

The frisbees that you helped purchase allowed for students to participate in several activities including KanJam, Frisbee Golf, and skill work in a safe, socially distant environment. The storage unit allowed for clear and direct areas for equipment that needed to be sanitized and equipment that was ready to use.

My students and I had a blast participating in our Frisbee Unit and we couldn't have done it without you. We are forever thankful!”

  • Providing Prints to Promote Success!

    Funded Dec 6, 2019

My students were ecstatic to find out that my project to supply them with printer paper and ink was fully funded. Many of my students have been arriving to school early so that they can complete their assignments and print them on time. This project is more than just printer ink and the paper, it is also promoting responsibility and punctuality. It is easy to encourage my students to be successful in finish their assignments when I now have the means to help them actually complete them. In addition, my students have become very mindful of eliminating wasteful printing because they are aware of where these materials came from which they are continuously grateful for. Thank you so much to our donors who are encouraging our success through their generosity.”

  • Kick Up Our Soccer Club

    Funded Dec 30, 2018

My students and I are incredibly grateful for your generosity. We were all ecstatic to find out that the project that would be supply us with two different types of soccer nets was funded. The excitement on my students faces and in their voices when they saw the steel framed nets put together was priceless. In many of their own words they "couldn't believe we got real nets!".

My students immediately started using the soccer nets during our before school soccer program. The steel framed nets are being used for competitive small sided soccer games. The smaller pop-up nets are being used for skills and drills before breaking into modified games.

We are all looking forward to taking our soccer skills to the next level when we can use the nets outdoors during the spring season.

We are very thankful to all of our donors who helped making the dream of having soccer nets a reality.”

  • It's Game Time for Badminton

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

My students and I were ecstatic to see that my project for badminton equipment and storage was funded literally overnight! My eighth grade students who have been asking for a badminton unit and tournament for the last two years finally had their wishes come true when this project got funded. They were in disbelief to learn that something that they have been dreaming of came in just before they are set to graduate. We are thrilled as a school to offer a new unit to our students in Physical Education as well as teaching them a sport that they can use for their lifetime. This equipment will also add an extra activity to our field days and morning sports programs. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our dream of playing competitive badminton into a reality!”

  • European Handball in NYC

    Funded Feb 6, 2018

My students and I are extremely grateful for your generosity. We are ecstatic to use our new gatorskin balls and pop-up nets for our upcoming European Handball unit. Being able to provide my students with more equipment means more overall practice time and encourages more students to stay on task.

My students were very curious when I introduced the idea of adding European Handball unit to our curriculum. The level of excitement quickly rose when they saw the equipment arrive and realized that this new sport was about to take off.

As a physical education teacher I cannot thank you enough for providing this equipment to our school. There is endless amount of ways that we can use the gatorskin balls and pop-up nets across our curriculum and throughout our extra curricular activities at our school. I am very excited to take this project beyond European Handball and utilize it in countless other ways. Your generosity will be appreciated throughout our entire school year.”
