Students at my school struggle with reading and having highly engaging books will inspire them to read more. The books on our wish list will be used for individual reading and for class lessons with activities. We will create a special area in our library to highlight these books. Students can review them and encourage other students to read their favorites. It is vital to the success of our students that they become readers! Our library book budget has been cut in half this year. Without donors we will not be able to buy the award winning books that students love. Instead we will have to use our funds for replacement books and students will miss out on the latest and greatest books on our state award lists.
