I have tried balls for the students to sit on, allowing students to stand during instruction and to complete work, and provide frequent breaks. They fall off the balls, run around the classroom, and refused to come back from break. Behavior students often struggle with the need to move and control of their bodies, while working. Recently, a fellow teacher requested and received the Hokki stools, and her students love them. These stools allow students to rock sideways, front and back while remaining seated and focused. These comfortable stools provide rocking movement as in a rocking chair, and do not fall over easily. Please consider helping my students be successful in the academics as well as their behavior management.
