Seat Sacks for All
Funded Oct 24, 2018Thank you so much for your tremendous generosity! We have been enjoying our seat sacks while putting them to good use. The students are able to store their writing folders, math folders, white boards, math manipulatives, and writing journals.
The students take pride in their seat sacks by keeping their belongings neat and organized. The seat sacks have taught them responsibility and the importance of taking ownership of their learning.
The students reaction when they first saw their new seat sacks was pure joy! They felt so loved knowing people cared about our class and spent their money to help us. We truly thank you and appreciate your act of kindness!”

An Apple a Day Keeps the Students Engaged!
Funded Mar 27, 2018Thank you SO much for your generous donations. The MacBook Air has given students the ability to learn and use technology within the classroom. We use the laptop multiple times a day in different areas of study.
The laptop has given students the opportunity to read level appropriate books online, research topics of interest, and play educational math games. We have incorporated the laptop into our daily morning meeting by syncing it with our Smartboard. The students absolutely love using the laptop/Smartboard to participate in dance and yoga videos.
As a teacher, I am now able to use the laptop to write lesson plans on google docs which are shared with colleagues. I am able to print materials from the laptop to provide instruction and differentiation for my students.
Our class thanks you greatly for your act of kindness!!!”

Funded Oct 3, 2016My students and I have been enjoying our new resources and cannot thank you enough for all of your support! We were so excited when the box arrived we could barley contain our excitement. We have been using the materials on a daily basis during center time. The students are excited to be able to play with academic toys that are both educational and fun!
It was such a joy to see the students faces light up when they saw the academic materials being lifted out of the box. The students were squealing with excitement and could not wait to learn how to use the different manipulative's.
The students have learned how to use the materials independently. Due to your support students are able to make a choice during center time and can choose to work on their literacy, math, or writing skills using the materials that you have provided our class with. We will continue to grow socially and academically because of your support!”
With gratitude,
Ms. Choron
