Headphone here, headphones there, we need headphones not to share. As a teacher you want your students to have all the tools they need to grow as learners. Tools that will encourage them to dig deeper into learning. These headphones will help them hear only the work they are working on and keep them focused. My hope is to get funded to purchase headphones of quality for my well-deserved students. Testing headphones!! Headphones are a plus when it comes to taking standardized tests nowadays, but this is not the only thing that makes having headphones a must-have in our classroom. Listening and working on educational websites at their independent learning levels is a terrific way to use headphones. Researching and and listening to videos make learning individualized and exciting. Recording students reading helps to build fluency and creativity. Headphones can take us everywhere. Headphones make learning individualized and headphones in our class will help build independence and make learning individual. No more, "I can not hear my iPad" or "your iPad is too loud." With headphones, my students will not have to worry about disrupting learning of other students. Students will be actively engaged and on task. Students using iPads and students completing other activities can remain focused on their assignments which will lead to greater learning and more ownership. Headphones can take us everywhere.
