Hello and welcome to my Donors Choose page! I am a Chicago Public School teacher who serves a group of wonderful, high school students in the Ravenswood neighborhood. As you can see in the group photo, this is not your typical classroom (I'm in the purple wig). I run an annual school Haunted House! The Haunted House is student run, student lead, and student created. I merely serve as a director and organizer. The House, as we Haunters fondly call the event, entertains and scares our community as well as serving a special type of student. Haunters are music lovers, make-up artists, designers, actors, ensemble members, writers, and creators of all types. Haunters are of varied high school grade levels and come from varied backgrounds. We are dedicated and love to use our imagination during that spooky time of year, Halloween!
