Give Me an Opportunity to Play and Be Noticed
Funded Jul 14, 2017Wow! Thank you all so much for your support and helping fund this project! My girls will be ecstatic to hear they will be able to showcases their lacrosse skills in this fall tournament. This will give them the opportunity to be noticed by college coaches for the first time and show what they have been taught and can do. They are grateful as I am for this outpour of generosity from people I know and some I don't. Thank you all again for your generous donations and your support!”

So I Can See to Play
Funded Feb 8, 2017It is with great pleasure that I tell you how my girls are doing since I received help with getting specific goggles. They are doing great with the new goggles. I have given away about 4 pair leaving me with 4 more for next season. They like the idea of being able to keep on their glasses and just put the goggles over top of them.
They were unable to do so last year which made it difficult for them to see to retrieve ground balls or catch the balls during the games and practices. They had no choice but to wear the regular goggles. That was a nightmare and some couldn't afford to buy contact lenses, which made it more frustrating for them. Now, my ladies can see and one even had a college check her out this season with much better stats and a very good GPA (4.1) this season, all due to your generosity.
I have two teams that have benefit from what you've done and both teams are doing well and appreciate this. I appreciate your help. So, from the Baltimore City Gators (rec) and Edmondson Westside HS, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kind act and helping grow the game in a urban setting.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Roycroft
