By increasing our number of cameras in the yearbook/journalism class, my students will be able to capture memories that otherwise would be lost without a yearbook. Cameras for this class are essential to producing a keepsake from high school. My class deserves to have quality equipment to produce a high interest yearbook for 2017. We are a Title 1 school where funding is not always available for equipment that is needed to capture life in and out of school. Our students are driven to produce a memorable yearbook, but are frustrated with the dated equipment that has been passed down for years.
