Cutting Correctly = Proper Projects
Funded Nov 15, 2022Thank you once again for your donations toward this product. As the Building and Construction class teacher here at Waimea HS, I can't tell you how badly this saw was needed. It has provided the students with a tool that speeds up their work with the accuracy required for the industry they are studying.
The students have learned how to use the tool and all its parts making the transition to use other tools much easier. So even as the saw tool that it is, it aided in the education of other tools as well.
Thank you once again.”
With gratitude,
Mr. Casillas
Look and See the Future of Your Education
Funded May 16, 2021Mahalo for your generosity. I am speaking specifically for the large projection screen. It has allowed my students to see from the middle/back of the room without leaving their seat just to take notes.
The students love it as they are now presenting their slideshows more creatively with their visual aids and writing. Everyone can see in the room so students make their work "look good". Students skills for presenting has resulted in higher quality work. Especially with their writing and content they display. It's almost as if they want to outdo each other. This has lifted everyone's work.
The use of this projection screen has been utilized for the general population and has proven to be a very worthwhile investment in the student's futures.
Mahalo again for your support.”

Funded Feb 9, 2021I would like to thank you once again for your generous contribution to my equipment needs/desires for the students. The additional peripherals I was able to get for my students really made it easier for them to work in class.
For some, it was the cool factor of using a keyboard with a functioning ten-key that allowed them to input data more efficiently. For others, it was the mechanical arm that allowed their phones to be viewed simultaneously with their Chromebook all the while never leaving their hands off the keyboard. The mouse(s) were equally popular as there are still many that doo not enjoy touch pads.
Without realizing it, my students completed work faster using what they see as a novelty item, but then later realizing that all jobs work better with the correct tools. I was able to make this a soft skill lesson I hope they will take with them in their future endeavors.
Once again I do truly appreciate your generous giving for this idea of mine. It spawned another one for possible classroom sets as students should be returning to class next year. Mahalo.”

Let's See What's On Your Mind!
Funded Aug 23, 2020My sincerest appreciation for the tool you gifted me in the monitor. I have been able to see all my students in class which has allowed me to see who is engaged in the lesson and who participates. With the pandemic and distance learning requirements, students have been turning their videos off so they can continue to do what they like off camera. This monitor has allowed me to maintain video contact with them while still showing them my lesson plan. This has proven to be an invaluable too that I have recommended to numerous other teachers. Thank you once again for for the gift and allowing me to do my job that much better during distance learning.”
