Ink to Success
Funded Sep 20, 2017Thanks to you I never have to worry about being a copy short. In the past, there were times I had to improvise, or interrupt lessons because I was missing a copy or two. As a teacher we also face the challenge of unexpectedly getting a new student in the middle of any given day. While you are searching for a desk and textbooks for that child, you realize you do not have enough copies for that new student to join in on an activity.
With your support and donation, I will have the correct amount of copies to meet the needs of all my students. They are very grateful and I often hear them say "thank goodness Ms.Burke has that copy machine." Your donation has made our classroom run smoother and less stressful, and for that I am forever grateful!”

Time for Kids!
Funded Aug 29, 2017My students are always eager to get their next Time for Kids article! We use them and revisit them daily for different reasons.
Just recently, we read about the Hurricanes that have been devastating people around the world. My students were able to read the detailed articles on their particular levels to gain new knowledge on these disasters. it gave them insight to how other children their age are facing obstacles. in addition, we are filling schoolbags to send school supplies for those in need. One student added "we should send some of our Time for Kids article so they can learn also!"
My students are thankful for your generous donations and look forward to learning so much more from this contribution to our classroom.”

Funded Sep 21, 2016Class 204 has really enjoyed their new camera with the help of your donation! We received the camera and plenty of film to catch all of our exciting projects in action.
Not only do the parents love this technology, but the parents find it phenomenal. They are able to see their child hands-on and get an idea of what our daily activities consist of.
We have photographs hanging all around the room so we can flashback and recall fun, exciting learning we engage in throughout the school year.
Thanks again for capturing such memories!”
