Our students are working towards being good citizens and scholars, but sometimes the worries and the wiggles get in the way. We are in need of safe, durable, good quality fidgets and sensory tools. Sensory breaks allow our students a positive outlet so they can get back to the task of learning, but we could use some new supplies! Many of our students have expressed interest in stress balls which I believe would allow them a physical outlet for the worries that build up and steer them off tasks. Fidgets like Tangle Therapy will offer an alternative to the tapping and damaging of school supplies and will avoid the students feeling as if they have to create their own fidgets from makeshift and sometimes unsafe materials.
