I would like to use Chromebooks as an educational tool throughout all subjects. I would like to use Chromebooks as an interactive resource in collaborating in writing and research projects. As well as, within my guided reading groups, access websites such as Padlet, where students are able to contribute to each other's reading responses further allowing them to deepen their comprehension. I have found that students are more motivated to learn and are more engaged when using technology. In science, we rotate as a whole 5th grade team. All 5th grade student would be able to use these Chromebooks to review using Kahootz, for researching, and for simulating experiments. In math, they would be utilized to access online manipulatives to deepen their representational mathematical understanding. The Chromebooks would be used in all subject areas for formative assessments.
