My students will feel appreciated and they will be comfortable being able to spread out and really dive into art. Currently we have the classic classroom desks, and a few science lab tables. It is very cramped and difficult for my students to have adequate space to work on their art assignments. Since we are starting from scratch as an "art room" this is the bare essentials of desks, high back chairs and activity tables to be able to function. Right now they are constantly having things fall off the desks, or they have to hold things in their laps. I really want them to be able to come into the art room and feel like its an art room, and not just an extra classroom that has no function.
