My students are very excited to be able to have a music room for the first time since any of them have been in school here. They love to sing and dance, and of course, play instruments. We are very excited to be able to play all of our instruments, especially recorders without disturbing the rest of the school. The older students are incredibly enthusiastic about playing the recorder and hope that is what we will do every time they come to music. They are always saddened towards the end of school when testing begins and then we can no longer play any instruments because it might bother others taking their important state tests. We want our fellow students to do well, but we still want to play our instruments!
