In my class, students are encouraged to create inspiring documentaries and videos that could make an impact on someone's life. Steps on graduating, random acts of kindness, doing the right thing, "how to" videos for specific class projects, and highlighting good news about our school are all videos that we have tried to produce but just don't have the right kind of technology. It is important for today's students to have access to equipment that can promote their creativity and ideas. Donors Choose could make this easier for them. Amazing footage of school activities and spirit could be documented with technology such as a drone. The experience of using this type of equipment and educating them on how to use it would be something they could take with them forever.
