Our school has a very large and extremely diverse population. About 95 percent of the students receive free or reduced lunch and therefore, our families often struggle to provide basic needs for the children, let alone school supplies. Majority of the population are English language learners, many of whom are refugees or asylees from other countries. There are over 32 languages represented by our school population and we strive to use creative and effective ways of communicating with students and families in order to bridge cultural gaps. We firmly believe that all students can learn and are capable of amazing things!
