  • Learning Around the Table!

    Funded Sep 6, 2023

Thank you so much for our wonderful kidney table for our classroom. This table as been a major game changer in our room as our students are able to gather around it for small group instruction. Many of our students need a great deal of support this table allows us to come together so the children are able to get the help they need.

The students get so excited when it is time to come to the table. They each have a stool that belongs to them with enough space to work and be in direct contact with their teacher. Thank you again for making this table apart of our every day learning.”

  • An Ear-Full of Fun!

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you very much for the class set of headphones. These head phones are used on a daily basis as our kids are always accessing different types of technology in our room. Each day the students use different types of applications to help enhance their learning abilities.

The students really love the different colored headphones that we were able to color coordinated with their tables. They can easily go and access their headphones with no issues. The headphones also help to keep the room quiet so the students are able to focus on what they are working on. We will be able to use these for many years to come.”

  • Laminate It!

    Funded Nov 16, 2022

Thank you so much for the laminator for our classroom. We have fully enjoyed being able to create centers that we are able to reuse over and over again. The children love working independently during center time. Our laminator gives us the chance to create even more centers that we can save for a long time.

It is also given us the chance to be able to laminate rewards that we give out in the classroom. This way the students can take them home and keep them for a long period of time without them getting ruined! We are so very thankful for this new addition to our class and look forward to using it for a long time.”

  • Cozy Up With a Good Book!

    Funded Nov 1, 2022

Thank you so much for the books! Our class is truly falling in love with reading now that we are able to provide them with various texts on their level. When the students saw the books their eyes lit up, they couldn't wait to get their hands on the books. They truly enjoy each day when we have independent reading time and are eager to shop for new books on a weekly basis. We have seen much growth in their reading levels due to the exposure of new books in our classroom. They love to chose from the variety of fiction an non-fiction texts that are available to them!”

  • Let's Get Flexible!

    Funded Nov 20, 2021

Thank you for donating to our project. Our kindergarten ICT classroom was in dire need of some flexible seating options as it was the first time many of our students experienced being in a classroom setting and had a constant case of the wiggles. Since receiving the Flex Space Wobble Cushions we have been able to get our students who required sensory input to sit and work more comfortably. Students have been able to sit and complete their work much better since receiving these wobble cushions. Since they are small and light weight they have also been able to bring them to the rug to focus on listening to stories.”

  • Let's Get Digital!

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

Thank you so much for your donations. The donations went towards the purchase of a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card. This gift card allowed for for the purchase of digital google slides for phonics and math to help my students during this time of remote learning. My class is a fully remote kindergarten class who are trying to hard to navigate through technology at only 5 years old.

The gift card made it easy to purchase things that would help enhance their abilities to use technology and learn. They find the slides that we were able to purchase fun and engaging. They love to move the slides around and find the the correct answer. For them it is almost like they are using manipulatives in the classroom again.

My students get excited hen they get the work correct and understand the new material that is being taught to them. The gift card has gone a long way with not only helping them learn but in helping their confidence as well.”

  • Lets Get Flexible!

    Funded Nov 16, 2019

Thank you so much for the new materials we received for our classroom. The students were so excited to use the stools at our kidney table. They loved being able to choose a color to sit on. The colorful stools brighten up our classroom and make it a cheerful and happy environment.

The students also loved the colorful dry erase wipe off dot circles. They really enjoy coming to the kidney table to do their word and being able to use the matching dot circles with their color stool. They get such enjoyment out of being able to write on it. Many students have expressed that they are having so much fun with them they forgot they are actually doing school work.

After showing the student the new stools and wipe off dot circles, they couldn't believe their was even more stuff in the boxes for them to use. We used the laminating sheets to help us laminate things we needed for the classrooms, such as hundreds charts to help us with our math facts. The students also loved the dry erase pocket sleeves. They work great for our center work!”

  • Help Us "Steam" Up Our Classroom With Ipads!

    Funded Apr 19, 2017

Thank you so much for the iPad for our classroom. My students love it! We use it as a reward system for the students when they have good behavior throughout the day. The students also use it as a means for reading too. We allow the students to use a number of different apps to help the students listen to books being read to them. The students love listening to different stories during our literacy block. It helps them expand their vocabulary, language skills, and reading levels. Using the iPad has help the students move there reading level by a half grade level.

The iPads have not only helped us during reading but for math too. I have been able to use the iPad during our center time to help the students learn numbers, addition problems and many other interesting things that help them during math. The students are able to use their fingers on the iPad to trace different numbers, it helps them with their fine motor skills.

The students love the iPad. Every time they see it come out they get so excited and can't wait to use it. All of the students in my class have loved using it. I have one student in particular who has a speech delay which makes it difficult for him to speak and read books. He gets so much enjoyment out of listening to the stories on the iPad and practicing the language and vocabulary he hears.”

I teach a special education bridge class with both kindergarten and first grade students. Having an iPad accessible would help in so many ways. While I am working with my kindergarten group, my first graders would be able to use the iPad to practice the skills taught in class independently. The same would apply when I am working with my first grade group. The iPad would be put to GREAT use and would help my hard working students practice the skills and strategies needed to make progress in all areas such as Science, Math, Technology and Literacy. Please help us make this possible.
