Sensory Play Is Learning!
Funded Mar 31, 2023Thank you for donating to our classroom . This project has allowed the students to learn about how different objects can feel. I have a classroom of sensory seeking students and this allows them to be able to seek out that much needed input to allow for body regulation.
It has also been a great factor in learning about sharing. Sharing is a huge component needed in learning social skills. Social skills is a top priority in my classroom. Social skills is the building foundation for learning. We must be able to share, interact, peer play and communicate with others before we can learn academically. Thank you for allowing this to happen.”

Stem Belongs in Every classroom.
Funded Oct 9, 2022Thank you so much for helping with this much needed equipment for our classroom. Bringing an activity table that supports STEM activities allows my students to experience learning in fun and meaningful ways.
Developing age-appropriate knowledge of language arts, math and scientific method through observation, hands on experimentation and inquiry is essential in the development of higher thinking, problem solving in order to grow.
With the tools donated, my students can now begin to explore these possibilities. Thank you so much for your generous support and donations.”

Inspiring Children's Interest In Dramatic Play
Funded Nov 30, 2022Thank you so much for bringing us a center of fun, change and most importantly, learning social skills.
My students are enjoying the many changes this dramatic play element can turn into. We have had a pancake shop, donut shop and a flower shop so far. The possibilities are endless.
We are truly grateful for your supporting funds that allowed us to bring this to the classroom. It is definitely the most desired place to learn in. They just want to spend the entire day there.
We appreciate each and everyone of you and couldn't have done it without your generous support. THANK YOU!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. H.
This classroom project was brought to life by an Anonymous Classroom Supporter and 2 other donors.Help Bring STEM Into The Classroom!
Funded Aug 10, 2022I cannot thank everyone enough for donating to this project. Being able to use this magnetic board has made such an impact in our learning centers. We can create science projects, language projects, math projects and even art using this stand up magnetic board. We are using it everyday and currently have the Engineer a coaster activity on it. It is so much watching these little ones think about how if they put a bar this way or that way, will the disk still go to the bottom. There is a lot of trial and error but that is what makes learning fun!
Thank you so much for your amazing support!”

This classroom project was brought to life by Bill Gates and 5 other donors.A Class With Special Needs, Needs A Voice!
Funded May 25, 2022I cannot thank everyone enough for donating to this project. Being able to use these iPads in the classroom has brought a very needed way of communicating for my students. We can access programs that allow them to use icons to show us what they need or want.
They also allow us to use apps that help with functional fine motor skills. It is so important for my students to be able to strengthen their fingers so they can go on to learn to hold a writing instrument in order to write their name.
Thank you so much for your amazing support!”

Mrs. H.
Full Steam Ahead! Don't Leave Out My Special Education Students!!!
Funded Oct 13, 2016First, let me just say, thank you, thank you, thank you!
Your donations means that you understand just how valuable technology can be to a child with cognitive, physical or speech and language challenges.
But let me tell you what your generous donation meant to my students.
One little boy with severe impaired language is learning to use a speech program that will allow him to communicate his wants and needs to me. His little face lights up every time he shows us and we can understand what he wants!
A young girl who had never said a word suddenly said "me" because she wanted to use the iPad.
One of my students ask to use the iPad daily so he can practice his writing skills because holding a pencil/crayon is difficult for him.
Another one of my students has learned his colors after "singing" along with an app on the iPad. He now points to objects and tells me the color!
Although these victories may seem small to the average person, they are not. Because of your generous donation, it has made learning in our classroom more accessible and rewarding. The kids and I are full of gratitude for your generosity.
Donors like you help make our learning possible. Most of my students are not afforded the luxury of having technology in their home environment but because of you, please know, they have full exposure right here in our classroom.
Again, thank you! We love your support.
Forever grateful,
Jeannie Hjaltalin (and my students in P13)
