  • Knowledge Is Power

    Funded Nov 8, 2019

You made our day! We were ecstatic to open the email with confirmation of your very generous donation. Your support means so much, not only to the school, but to the kids you are helping.

Thank you for your generous gift . We are thrilled to have your support. Through your donation we have been able to accomplish numerous read alouds, explicit vocabulary instruction and continue working towards our small group reading strategies. Your personal commitment was incredibly helpful and allowed us to reach our goal.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. L.

  • Binding Bonanza

    Funded Sep 1, 2019

Thank you very much for helping us get a classroom binding machine. It has helped us to keep our 5th grade classroom reading skill a day journals neatly together. The students were excited to see that their skill a day journals looked like books and are dedicated in taking extra care of them.

You can never have enough laminating sheets! Our laminating sheets have been a huge success in the classroom. The students are always happy to see that their tools last longer. My students are eager to produce better work once they realize it will be preserved with laminating sheets.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. L.

  • Back to the Basics

    Funded Oct 24, 2019

Upon opening the package, my students gleamed with delight. They have been excited to know that we have a multitude of pencils. The golf pencils have been a huge hit. We have a sign out wall for pencils. I've used Velcro dots to attach to wall for easy access and return.

Before the clipboards arrived, my students began to ask me for dry erase boards. The math dry erase clipboards came at just the right time. Students grab them during the mini lesson daily and return them.

Our chime is absolutely a life saver and reminds the students when it's time to clean up.”

  • Comfy, Cozy Reading Nook.

    Funded Aug 28, 2019

Where do I even begin to express our gratitude? My students have been excited about these benches since the boxes arrived. they nearly asked everyday what they were. the suspense was getting to them. Finally, once we were able to put them together they have each had a few moments sitting at them. They truly love them! When they are sitting at them they are more engaged and focused. They have given our library that extra comfy, cozy feel they were craving for. Literacy is an essential life skill. Of all the gifts we give our children, knowing how to read is the one that provides the foundation for the rest of their lives.”

  • Llama Llama Laminator

    Funded Sep 15, 2019

My students and I are over the moon with our new classroom laminator, larger laminating pouches and pencils. We have already begun to make our inspirational posters for our classroom. They are truly making our room a brighter and happier place.

They have chosen an inspirational quote that speaks to them and have matched it with the perfect sketch while using the pencils to draw and colored pencil to add vibrance. They are excited that by laminating them, they will last the entire year and they can even take them home.”

  • Fresh, Clean & Germ Free

    Funded Jan 18, 2019

The students and I are just over the moon with our supplies. The first time we opened our packages the students shrieked with joy. We discussed how we would be using these items in our classroom and they immediately wanted to get started. They enjoy having a clean space to work on assignments. I believe their exact words were "it feels so fresh and clean". The students cane up with a lovely idea. They thought since we were so lucky to have all these items that perhaps we could extend a hand to other classrooms. We gave one Clorox wipes container to several classroom and still have so many to spare.”

  • Copy, Copy

    Funded Dec 10, 2018

Today, I realized that even people who don't know you can extend kindness that you have never experienced. Thank you for the incredible kindness that you have shown to us. Your gesture, although much unexpected, is a reminder that there are still good people in this world. You didn't have to donate to our classroom and yet you did it anyway. And for that, we will be forever grateful! I believe that kindness has the power to change the world. Your kind deed will go a long way. The printer, the ink and paper have been a great help in our classroom. My students and I were at a loss for words.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. L.

  • Positive, Flexible Environment

    Funded Dec 14, 2018

Thank you for all your help getting this project funded. You can not begin to imagine the smiles on my students faces when they saw all of our wonderful goodies. We have wonderful new prizes to add to our prize box to promote positive behavior and also academic growth. The wobble chairs have been a huge help with getting my students to move around seated, while maintaining productivity during classwork time. I can't thank you enough for your generosity. You have touched 36 students and 1 extremely happy teacher.”

  • Classroom Supplies

    Funded Dec 17, 2018

When my students first saw all the packages arrive to our classroom, they asked me if Santa arrived once more. I had the pleasure of explaining to them, how fortunate we were to have someone help us buy the necessary supplies needed for us to succeed in our classroom. We sat around the meeting area to see all our lovely things as they came out the boxes.

The students and I plan to use our new resources daily. We use post it notes to jot down our thinking while we read and also to write glows and grows for our peers. The pencils are used for writing our assignments, etc. The paper will be used for printing out our homework and our individual anchor charts. We are extremely grateful for all the supplies.”

  • Hygiene is as Important as ABC "Always Be Clean".

    Funded Aug 14, 2017

Discussing hygiene was the best thing for my students this year. Although my students were a little shy about receiving the products they were also relieved to have them available to them. Having these products available avoided having kids become objects of ridicule in the classroom. They felt comfortable and normal like anybody else. I bought extra plastic pencil cases for the students to keep their items in a discrete location and where they can always find them. The smiles those hygiene kits brought them were absolutely priceless.”

The laptops I am requesting for my classroom will help my students take more control over their own learning and gain more responsibility. My goal is to integrate technology into the classroom as a way to reach diversity in learning styles. By bringing technology into the classroom, I'm hoping to engage them within their learning by using the tools they love. Using technology will help make the classroom a happier place. They will be excited about being able to use technology and therefore, are more apt to learn. My students will have time to work in fifteen minute learning group rotations throughout the day either for social studies projects or for iReady diagnostics.
